Beyond Essential SAFe

Easy Agile Programs is used by a number of Enterprise level organisations operating beyond Essential SAFe.

Currently our app, provides a holistic view of the features and dependencies for an Agile Release Train rather than providing a view across multiple value streams.

In order to achieve a portfolio view we recommend:

• using a dedicated board for your features so you have access to the Quick Filters from this board. You can then create and use Quick Filters to focus in on a specific portfolio epic, initiative or capability when scheduling issues, during team planning sessions or ART syncs

• using option 3 ‘I want to schedule other issue types from a dedicated agile board onto my Program Roadmap’ when creating your Program so that you can schedule and visualise portfolio epics, initiatives and/or capabilities on the roadmap. These higher level initiatives won’t be positioned above your features however you will be able to see them within the Program.
