Teams in a Program can now independently manage their sprints

In previous beta versions, we created global sprints for all of the teams in a Program. We received a lot of feedback around teams wanting the ability to be able to independently manage their own Sprints, and to be able to configure existing sprints within their Boards for an Increment.

We're happy to say that we have removed the global sprints and associated board, giving teams the autonomy to manage their own Sprints.

Any future Sprints the team has already created can be adopted by the Program, and all of the work scheduled in those Sprints will be reflected in Easy Agile Programs. When there are no pre-created Sprints in a Team's board, Easy Agile Programs will automatically create them for you.

** Please note: this is a breaking change. Any Programs created in previous versions of the Beta will need to be recreated. We apologise for this inconvenience and appreciate your perseverance as we continue to work on Easy Agile Programs during the Beta period.

Consistent Inward/Outward Dependency Visualisation

We received feedback that the inward/outward direction of a dependency had distinct meaning to our users.

In this release, we've removed the concept of arrows to illustrate the direction of dependencies. We found that the direction of the arrows was subjective to individual users, and was a cause for confusion as to the direction of the dependency it was representing. We have chosen to visualise the directional of the dependency chain using pins.

This is something that we're eager to get your feedback on - primarily, whether this visualisation clearly represents the direction of the dependency relationship.

Rich Text Editor for Program Increment Objectives

We know that the Program Increment Objectives are often created and saved in different spaces (Confluence, Google Docs etc.)

In this release, we have included a rich text editor for Objectives so that no matter where you keep them, they can be linked and shared here. Program Managers/Release Train Engineers can also now add stylistic elements to plain text Objectives.
