Compatibility & Performance
Easy Agile Roadmaps Performance/Scalability
Easy Agile Roadmaps is a simple, static javascript application which runs entirely in the user's browser, using the Jira Software REST APIs as its data source.
Some of our happy enterprise customers include Bosch, JP Morgan, BMW, Oracle, IBM and Coca Cola.
Easy Agile Roadmaps is fully supported by our Product and Engineering team. We are committed to growing and developing the capabilities of our team to ensure a scalable, performant product today and into the future.
Jira Compatibility Support
While we endeavour to maintain support for commonly used versions of Jira, we will no longer support old versions of Jira that are not supported by Atlassian.
With the release of Easy Agile Roadmaps v4.2.1, we will no longer be supporting Jira 7.X.
If you are using Jira 7.X, you can continue to use our app however you won’t be able to upgrade to the latest version until Jira is updated.
Easy Agile Roadmaps Browser Support
Easy Agile products support the same set of browsers as Jira. We test our apps on Chrome, Edge, Safari and Firefox.
Internet Explorer 11
Microsoft released Edge in 2015 to replace Internet Explorer. Since then Internet Explorer has not received major updates or support for modern standards. Microsoft discourage the use of Internet Explorer as the default browser.
In September 2019 Atlassian announced that they would be retiring support for Internet Explorer. Atlassian stopped supporting Internet Explorer on Cloud from March 2020 and on Jira Server / Data Centre from version 8.6 onward.
As a small team it’s becoming increasingly difficult to support browsers that are no longer supported by Atlassian, as such new features added to Roadmaps version 4.2.1 and onwards will not be available in Internet Explorer.
We will continue to support the existing feature set in Internet Explorer 11 until Jira 8.6 enterprise support ends in October 2021 but we encourage you to switch to a modern browser for the best experience.
Is Easy Agile Roadmaps compatible with Team-Managed (Next-Gen) Projects?
Yes.
To create a roadmap that includes both company-managed and team-managed projects, you will need to create a board that includes both projects:
Navigate to your company-managed board > Click on the three dots Icon > Board settings > Edit filter query
Add your team-managed issues to be returned in the board filter
Back to your board > Project Settings > Columns
Map the statuses of your team-managed issues to the columns of your board
Make sure not to skip the status mapping step. Then when viewing the roadmap for this board make sure that both of the epic types are checked in the options menu to ensure all epics from the board appear for scheduling.
