Add all issue types to the roadmap
We pride Easy Agile Roadmaps on being the simplest, most flexible roadmapping solution for Jira. In keeping with that ethos, we think you should be able to plan your roadmap exactly how you want.
In this release, we're enabling users to schedule ALL issue types on the roadmap (including custom issue types), not just Epics like in previous versions.
This has been our most requested feature for the roadmap to date, and we're proud to say that this release will address our user's needs such as these:
"We want the ability to assign individual stories to the roadmap because not everything we do is large enough to warrant an epic."
"It would be very convenient for our team if we can create a roadmap at not only the epic level. We have too many small and middle-sized tasks and issues and we can't create epics for these features, but we need to add some of them to our roadmap."
Create new issues without leaving the roadmap
In previous versions, users had the ability to create new Epics while on the roadmap. We've extended this functionality to allow users to create all new issue types without having to leave the roadmap. We believe this will make for quick and frictionless planning/forecasting on the roadmap at any level.
Add optional end dates to date markers/milestones
We included the ability to add optional end dates to date markers/milestones on the roadmap. Hovering over these date markers/milestones will now show the duration of those events, giving more context around what's coming up for the business. We know having this information is important for aligning business and engineering teams.
Edit fix version details on the roadmap
This is just another way we are trying to simplify the planning/forecasting process for Product Managers and their teams. Users are able to change the start/end dates of a fix version as well as its description by simply clicking on the fix version on the roadmap.
