Create new versions on the roadmap

We have made significant improvements to Easy Agile Roadmaps over the last few weeks. We want to provide Product Manager's and their teams the ability to set and communicate the vision for their product seamlessly in Jira.

Our customers have told us that a major part of this process, is planning and scheduling versions on their roadmaps. In this release we're enabling users to create new versions on the roadmap - no more jumping between the Releases Page in Jira and Easy Agile Roadmaps.

Drag and drop versions on the roadmap to change start & release date

Another way we're making version planning simple is by enabling users to drag and drop versions on the roadmap timeline to edit their start and release dates.

All changes on the roadmap are automatically reflected in the Jira version details - no need to navigate back to the Releases page to edit these dates.

Quick filters now available on the roadmap

A product roadmap encompasses work that potentially 1 or 100 teams are looking to deliver to align with the overall vision of the organisation. In the case of the latter, it's easy to imagine the roadmap getting very noisy.

Our customers have told us it's vital to be able to narrow in on what's important to them. We're happy to say that we've introduced quick filters in this release to help those teams do just that!

When scheduling an issue on top of an issue excluded by a quick filter, we show how that issue will be re-scheduled in a lower opacity, to give full visibility into the changes being made.
