Tracking incomplete actions from retrospectives
Make your retrospectives matter by turning what your team learnt into action.
Track outstanding retrospective action items on the Retrospective page to make sure you don’t forget to follow up on great ideas.
On Cloud:
Choose to show incomplete actions from last retrospective, or all retrospectives.
“Incomplete actions” is available on all Jira boards.
See the context of an action.
On Data Center:
See incomplete actions from the last sprint’s retrospective.
“Previous incomplete actions” is only available on scrum boards.

If your Jira site has “.atlassian.net” in the URL, you’re using the app on Jira Cloud. You’ll automatically get the latest functionality.
On Jira Cloud
The “Incomplete actions” column shows when there are action items from previous retrospectives that aren't done yet.
In-app action items show until the checkbox is checked.
Action items converted to Jira issues show until they’re in a “Done” (green) status.
Use the dropdown to choose either:
The actions from last retrospective (one immediately prior)
Incomplete actions from all retrospectives on this Jira board
See the context of an action:
The sprint or retrospective name it was created in will always show.
If the action was created from another retro item, see that item and its comments too.
Sort items by:
Created date
Number of reactions
Assignee
Click the assignee icon to add or change the assignee of an item.
If the action is also a Jira issue, assignee permission is managed with Jira permissions.
On Jira Data Center
“Previous incomplete actions” is available in Data Center app version 10.0.0 and later.
The column is currently only available on scrum boards.
This functionality is coming to kanban boards in the next app update. You can Watch the app here to get notifications for new Data Center versions of Easy Agile TeamRhythm.
The “Previous incomplete actions” column shows any outstanding action from the previous sprint’s retrospective.
The column appears automatically when there are incomplete actions in the last retrospective.
Action items are only shown for the 1 sprint retrospective immediately before this one.
Check off an item in this column to remove it from the list.
