Scheduling issues on the roadmap
This page covers the range of options for scheduling and re-scheduling issues on the roadmap.
Rescheduling visible issues
Reschedule issues by:
Dragging and dropping the issue to move the whole issue earlier or later
Dragging and dropping the handle at the start or end of an issue to change only that date
This will change the dates set on those issues in Jira.
Schedule child issues
With hierarchy enabled, issues may show in the issue panel under their parent issues even if they are not currently scheduled. A dotted pattern will show on that issue’s row in the roadmap to indicate that it is not scheduled yet.
Click anywhere in that row to schedule the issue.

To add an issue as a child of an already-scheduled issue, use the issue menu to “Add child issue”.
“Add child issue” is only shown if the issue is above level 0 (standard-/story-level issues)

Add issues
Issues that aren’t on the roadmap at all can be added from the “Add issues” button in the top right of the app.

The issue will be added to the bottom of the roadmap, highlighted with a pulsing green border.

Fix dates
If the start date of an issue is after the end date, the issue will be displayed between the two dates.
A “Fix dates” button will show on the right-hand end of the issue. You can use this button to quickly switch the dates on the issue in Jira.
You cannot reschedule an issue on the roadmap by dragging and dropping while its dates are out of order.

Reorder issues
Issues can only be re-ordered if Hierarchy is toggled off. Drag and drop issues in the issue panel to change the order or move them between Themes.

Remove issues
In the issue menu, use “Unschedule” to clear dates from the issue (without removing it from its place in the hierarchy)
If the issue has a parent/child issue that’s still on the roadmap, it will stay in its place on the hierarchy. A dotted pattern will show in its row on the timeline.
